1. What does Amot stand for?
Amot is an abbreviation for “A Matter of Time”.
2. How did you come up with the name Amot?
I came up with the name Amot at the age of 16 when my mother passed on, although at the time I knew I wanted to own a clothing brand, I could never come up with a name. I was sketching one day in a somewhat depressed state and thinking about my mother and said it’s just “A Matter of Time” before I see you again and there it was Amot.
3. What’s the first thing you did to get your brand started?
Designed a logo that represented Amot Apparel’s image
4. How did you get started?
I started by distributing clothing out of my car to the locals in the neighborhood.
5. How long has the brand been in business?
4 years
