Adele ‘sells English seaside home’

Adele has reportedly sold her seaside pad in the U.K. as she plans to relocate her family to Los Angeles to further her successful career.

The Oscar-winning singer was allegedly quitting the U.K. to spend at least eight months in the U.S. after purchasing a luxurious Los Angeles mansion, but now she’s reportedly looking to make the move more permanent.

British newspaper The Sun revealed she has sold her three-bedroom Brighton beachside townhouse for $3.7 million (£2.85 million), making a $457,000 (£385,000) profit.

By bidding farewell to her seaside property, she’s saying goodbye to her fellow celebrity neighbours, including David Walliams, Zoe Ball and her DJ husband Fatboy Slim.

Adele bought the home in 2015, and it was reportedly sold last month (Jul16) to the owner of an online fashion store.

The Skyfall hitmaker will be making her Hollywood Hills mansion her family home, as she moves in with boyfriend Simon Konecki and their son Angelo.

The mansion, which set her back $7.8 million (£6 million), has a swimming pool, an outdoor train set and a tree house for her toddler son, The Sun reports.

The superstar told fans at a recent gig in the U.S. she is planning on spending Christmas this year (16) in America.

“I’m officially half a resident of LA. Half LA; half London. I’m in America for eight months,” she said. “I’m on tour and then I’m going to have Christmas in America. I haven’t done that before, I’m really excited.”
