Madonna tops billboard over 20 years

Madonna undisputed queen of Billboard chart

Madonna is the new reigning queen of a single Billboard chart.

The Material Girl put her song Ghosttown from the album Rebel Heart at number 1 this week on the Dance Club Songs Chart giving her 45 number 1’s for that tally.

That’s one more than George Strait has had on the Country Songs. It could still be a horse race between the two, but Strait hasn’t had a chart topper since 2009’s River of Love.

As for just the Dance Club Songs Chart, it looks like Madonna will be the queen for a long, long time. Her 45 number 1 are more than twice the total of the two artists tied at number two. Both Rihanna and Beyonce have each had 22.
